Born out of futuristic vehicle designs of the mid 20th Century, BaDassumption is a totally unique take on scratchbuilding that combines a kind of modular construction with a hint of 'The Jetsons' styling. It's beautiful and bizarre at the same time and is the epitome of project design and form taking a higher priority over function or performance - something that we could all learn a lesson from.

Another forum heavyweight, Blackmesa HL² by piloux, which has gained well over 1.5million views in our forum since the project started in mid 2004. No wonder, because it's one of the best Half Life-themed mods we've ever seen.

Sadly we don't have larger photos of piloux's project however the project log is well worth a read and we think you'll agree that the use of colour, water cooling and textured exterior set the bar as far as projects of this type are concerned.
